Graduate School: An Excellent Choice

You are working towards your undergraduate degree; the finish line is almost visible. You’ve spent four (or more) long years with that diploma in mind. The idea of graduation is as terrifying as it is exciting; you’re leaving the comforts of both school and home behind in order to start the rest of your life. Then what? Your undergraduate studies have only partially prepared you for the path of your choice. While some move into the workforce, there is another choice: graduate school.

Photography and Prague:
A Student’s Perspective

Let me introduce myself: I am currently a senior in the Visual Media department at the School of Communication at American University in Washington, DC. As an intern for National Geographic Channel in the Development and Acquisitions department, I screen hundreds of films and television shows to weed out the good from the bad. My coursework, coupled with my experience studying photography in Prague, provided me with a sound visual foundation which aids me daily at my internship.
