Are you wondering what to do this summer? Believe it or not, a single class can change your life.

It’s been nine years since I graduated high school, but I still remember the speech made at Baccalaureate. Granted, Steve Jobs was the one making it, so it was rather notable. But he really knew what he was talking about. Wearing a blazer and jeans, he surveyed his audience with natural confidence and a look in his eye like he knew something that we didn’t. But he divulged his secrets. He earnestly saw the sea of clueless 18 year olds in front of him as the future creators, law makers, and visionaries. He bestowed upon us advice that I will never forget: He told us not to listen to our parents. He urged us to take any class we wanted; to take classes that interested us no matter how irrelevant to our major or future career it may have seemed. The graduating seniors smiled and parents shifted nervously in their seats.
