Where else can you find ravers, thugs, and hipsters drinking $50 bottles of Veuve Cliquot and quarts of Private Stock Malt Liguor? Hearthrob is turning Tuesday nights into the new Saturday night with sell-out crowds and lines pouring out onto Mass Ave. In short, it’s a bi-monthly smorgasbord of partying, music, and visuals at the Middlesex Lounge in Central Square every other Tuesday night. The Heathrob crew has even taken the party on the road, landing in Montreal on Valentine's Day to rock the highly-hyped club night Peer Pressure.

April in Boston can be a bit of a heartbreakerit’s downright devastating perusing aisles of magazines with bikini-clad models splashed on the covers while the ambient outdoor temperature hovers just below chilly. But, cranky and stubborn Northeastern weather aside, April means spring and everything synonymous with the seasonflower blossoms and pastels, chocolate bunnies and spring cleaning, Earth Day and impending bikini season. For me, spring is a time of reckoning. After months of hibernating with pizza delivery and boxed mac ‘n’ cheese, driving to any destination farther away than a block and too many dates with the DVD player, it’s time to eat my veggies, do my part for conservation and rekindle my social life. Amazingly, it’s even easier done than said, because all three feats can be accomplished with a visit to any one of these outstanding restaurants that feed both the stomach and spirit with healthy, earth-friendly fare.
